SMART FURNITURE SOLUTIONS VIETNAM 2024: PAVING THE WAY FOR SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION IN BINH DUONG
On November 27, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) – Ho Chi Minh City Branch, in collaboration with BIFA Trading and Service Joint Stock Company and Pablo Publishing & Exhibition, officially launched the 5th Smart Furniture Solutions Vietnam 2024 (SFS VIETNAM 2024) at WTC Expo. The event attracted participation from government leaders, industry representatives, and over 200 businesses.
This year’s SFS VIETNAM features nearly 200 booths from more than 180 exhibitors representing various countries and territories. The exhibition showcases an extensive range of products in the timber industry, including raw materials and supplies, woodworking tools such as saws, blades, cutters, and drill bits, as well as interior components.
A standout feature of the exhibition is its focus on sustainable practices, with an emphasis on green materials and eco-friendly solutions. These initiatives aim to enhance sustainability in Bình Dương’s and Vietnam’s wood production and export industries.
In the opening ceremony, a VCCI representative highlighted the increasing significance of smart furniture in modern living. Beyond convenience, such innovations play a vital role in environmental protection and sustainable development. Green solutions that conserve resources and reduce ecological impacts are becoming essential priorities for the industry.
Echoing this sentiment, Nguyen Truong Thi, Deputy Director of the Binh Duong Department of Industry and Trade, praised the showcased products for their creative designs and contributions to enhancing quality of life. He emphasized their dual impact: reducing environmental harm while advancing sustainability goals.
The four-day exhibition has become a valuable platform for businesses to access state-of-the-art technologies, strengthen supply chains, explore emerging trends in interior design, and drive sustainable growth in production and exports. Industry insiders have lauded the event as a key milestone in shaping the future of the wood and furniture sectors in Vietnam.
