OPENING CEREMONY OF THE ELECTRIC ENERGY SHOW AND THE AUTOMATION WORLD VIETNAM 2024
On the morning of September 25, the opening ceremony of The Electric Energy Show and the Automation World Vietnam 2024 took place at the WTC Expo in Binh Duong.
The ceremony was attended by Ms. Jung Ga Yeon, Vice Consulate General of the Republic of Korea – Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Nguyen Van Loi – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Loc – Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh – Head of Propaganda and Training Commission of Provincial Party Committee; and Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.
The exhibition aims to showcase the latest solutions for carbon neutrality, digital transformation, and Industry 4.0. It is expected that the cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea will contribute to building a digital ecosystem for power and automation in Vietnam. The event also serves as an opportunity to promote Binh Duong as a prime location for future investment activities.
The events feature more than 400 booths showcasing advanced solutions and technologies in electricity, energy, and automation from over 1,000 businesses in many countries and territories worldwide, including the Republic of Korea (RoK), Germany, Japan, Malaysia, China, Taiwan (China), and Vietnam.
Experts from Vietnam and South Korea presented solutions to optimize production, reduce costs, and enhance manufacturing efficiency. A special highlight is the Green Energy Summit, themed “Sustainable Energy Technologies for a Better Future,” which will focus on sustainable energy trends, as well as efficient energy management and distribution.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Jung Ga Yeon reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening dynamic economic relations between South Korea, Binh Dương, and southern Vietnam. This effort aims to support the growth of Korean and Vietnamese businesses, contributing to the economic development of both nations.
On behalf of Binh Duong’s leaders, Mr. Mai Dung Dung expressed his gratitude for the trust and support from the South Korean government, as well as from associations, organizations, and businesses from South Korea and other countries. He emphasized that Binh Dương is an ideal location for technology exchange in areas such as sustainable energy solutions, efficient energy management, and smart automation, helping companies optimize production and management processes.
