Receiving the invitation of Jim Pillen, Governor of Nebraska (USA), on October 2, a delegation of Binh Duong province led by Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, took a trip to Nebraska state.
Accordingly, the delegation arrived at Lincoln city – the capital of Nebraska state; worked with Nebraska state leaders, the Ministry of Agriculture and some agricultural and mechanical manufacturing businesses…

At the meeting, Jim Pillen was very happy and welcomed the delegation of Binh Duong province visiting and working in Nebraska; and hoped that the two sides would continue to cooperate more closely in the following fields: education, production, and agriculture, aiming to improve the competitiveness of local businesses in the international arena.
Mr. Minh said that the working visit to Nebraska is a concrete step in tightening the relationship between the two localities after the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between People’s Committee of Binh Duong province and the Nebraska state government to establish cooperative relations on the basis of equality and mutual benefit. This is also one of the meaningful activities after President Joe Biden paid a state visit to Vietnam from September 10 to 11, right on the occasion of the two countries celebrating the 10th anniversary of comprehensive partnership.
Mr. Minh affirmed that further promoting the cooperative relationship between Binh Duong province and Nebraska state in fields of education, industrial production, agriculture etc. is very necessary in the coming time, and priority will be given to cooperation in education. He also hopes that cooperation would bring more success to the two localities in the coming time.

Within the working visit to the state of Nebraska, the delegation of Binh Duong province visited University of Nebraska Omaha, University of Nebraska Omaha Medical Center (UNMC) and iExcel Program. This is a program that combines multiple visualization and simulation methods with 3D, augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR) technologies, supporting simulation of healthcare environments to improve research and study outcomes.
