BINH DUONG: THE NEXT CULTURAL INDUSTRY HUB OF SOUTHERN VIETNAM

On the morning of July 12, 2024, the seminar “Promoting International Trade Services & Cultural Industry in Binh Duong” was held at the WTC Expo. The seminar, part of the Vietnam Advertising Festival 2024, was organized by WTC Binh Duong, Becamex IDC, and Dongnam Advertising and Commercial Promotion JSC. With its advantageous geographical location and advanced infrastructure, Binh Duong has become a vibrant commercial hub, attracting numerous international investors and businesses. The cultural industry plays a crucial role in preserving traditional cultural values while creating innovative and modern cultural products.

Speakers discussed market opportunities in the new phase to boost industrial trade and cultural industries in Vietnam, seeking feasible and positive solutions for industry development. The seminar provided a platform for experts and businesses to meet and exchange on attractive topics, including promoting the exhibition industry and cultural industries in Binh Duong, opportunities, and challenges in transforming the industrial area into a destination for trade and creative industry development in Vietnam. The cultural industry development project in Bình Dương was also shared to invite local and international partners.

Within the framework, Dongnam Advertising and Commercial Promotion JSC shared experiences in accessing the international industrial trade market and discussed strategies for international industrial trade development in Binh Duong. They shared insights from top organizers on customer approaches and optimizing networking opportunities at industrial trade exhibitions.

Additionally, Binh Duong School of Fine Arts discussed developing human resources for the advertising industry and the opportunity to supply high-quality personnel for the advertising and communication industry. This laid the foundation for developing cultural industries in the future. ESGs Company shared trends in the green event industry, evaluating and promoting the improvement of the green industry process in Vietnam.

At the seminar, Ms. Huynh Dinh Thai Linh, representing Becamex IDC, Director of WTC Bình Dương, and President of the Binh Duong Logistics Association, stated that Binh Duong and Becamex IDC would continue to strongly promote industrial transformation towards science and technology, innovation, and sustainable development. They aim to develop the cultural industry in line with local development, contributing to making Binh Duong a science and technology hub and a cultural industry destination in the Southern economic region.
