CHECK-IN MODELS TO PROMOTE HO CHI MINH CITY TOURISM

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism has announced plans to introduce a series of check-in photo models at selected destinations and public spaces by the end of this year. This initiative is part of the 2025 Tourism Promotion Program, aimed at strengthening the visibility of the city’s destination brand “Ho Chi Minh City – Vibrant Every Experience” in both domestic and international markets.

The models will feature youthful, modern designs under the message “Ho Chi Minh City Welcomes You”, and will integrate augmented reality (AR) technology to create fresh and engaging experiences beyond traditional photography.

The installations will be set up at four locations:

  • 23/9 Park

  • Ben Thanh Metro Station (skylight area)

  • Vung Tau Ward Center

  • Thu Dau Mot Ward Center

Each site will showcase a unique design style, incorporating recognizable symbols of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Vung Tau. Highlights include:

  • Striking LED light effects

  • Playful and approachable Art Toy figures

  • Modern CNC lightbox installations creating 3D visual effects

The Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Center will lead the project, continuously promoting these models through the official website visithcmc.vn and social media channels.

Funded by the 2025 tourism promotion budget, the initiative is expected to create attractive new check-in points, contributing to the enhanced image of Ho Chi Minh City as a dynamic and welcoming destination for both domestic and international visitors.
