BECAMEX TOKYU BUS: CONNECTING THE NEW EASTERN BUS STATION WITH BINH DUONG NEW CITY CENTER
Starting from July 1, 2025, Becamex Tokyu Bus officially launches Route 61-77 ( Purple Line) , directly connecting the New Eastern Bus Station (Ho Chi Minh City) with the Binh Duong New City Center – a dynamic urban area home to major administrative headquarters, commercial centers, and large-scale event venues. The new bus line is expected to provide a convenient public transport option for residents, visitors, and businesses, especially as the area increasingly hosts major trade fairs and exhibitions.
With a seamless route and direct linkage to Metro Line 1 at Suoi Tien Station, passengers from central Ho Chi Minh City can easily reach the New City Center without having to transfer between different transport modes. Route 61-77 is thoughtfully designed to provide flexible access to key facilities within the WTC Binh Duong complex, including the Binh Duong Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC), WTC Expo, and surrounding amenities. Bus stops are strategically placed opposite or adjacent to these venues, making it easy for passengers to choose the most convenient drop-off point:
- For the BCEC, passengers can get off at Hung Vuong – Le Loi intersection (approx. 3-minute walk)
- For WTC Expo or WTC Tower, the nearest stop is Administrative Center Back Entrance (approx. 3-minute walk)
With a reliable schedule, modern buses, and well-located stops, Route 61-77 is suitable for both individual travelers and event delegations. The route not only helps ease traffic congestion from private vehicles but also enhances accessibility to major exhibition and event venues in the New City Center, improving the overall visitor experience and contributing to the effectiveness of the province’s trade promotion and investment attraction efforts in this new era of development.
