BINH DUONG ENCOURAGES INVESTMENT FROM AN HUY PROVINCE BUSINESSES

On the morning of September 8th at WTC Tower, Deputy Secretary of the Binh Duong Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao, warmly welcomed a delegation from An Huy Province, China, led by Dao Duyet Quan, Chairman of Oupu Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., and Ha Chi Binh, Chairman of the An Huy Business Association. The delegation visited Binh Duong to explore investment opportunities and strengthen trade ties.

At the meeting, representatives from the provincial leadership and Becamex IDC reported a summary of the current investment attraction situation in Binh Duong.

Representatives of the local government, along with businesses from key sectors such as wood processing, textiles, leather and footwear, bags, mechanics, electricity, ceramics, lacquerware, logistics, renewable energy, and import-export in Binh Duong, met with enterprises, groups, companies, law offices, and educational organizations from China. Nearly 30 companies from An Huy Province, China, currently investing and operating in Binh Duong, also participated in the discussions, exchanging information and raising numerous questions to explore opportunities for mutual cooperation and investment.

During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao highlighted that Binh Duong is currently home to 550 Chinese-invested projects, with a total capital of $1.7 billion, accounting for 13% of all provincial projects and 4% of its total foreign direct investment (FDI). He emphasized Binh Duong’s proactive approach to expanding both bilateral and multilateral cooperation, while also driving forward its digital transformation agenda and building a new ecosystem for sustainable growth.

Mr. Nguyen HoangThao assured the An Huy business delegation that Binh Duong is committed to providing the best possible conditions for investments in priority sectors such as high-tech industries, green energy, the circular economy, financial services, and modern logistics.

Dao Duyet Quan, on behalf of the An Huy delegation, expressed admiration for the impressive growth of Chinese enterprises in Binh Duong. He also acknowledged the importance of recent Vietnam-China cooperation agreements, considering them a solid foundation for deepening business partnerships between An Huy and Binh Duong province.
